The app offers effects and enhancements right from the word go. The app allows you to apply filters directly on to the camera before shooting so that you can check with effect you’d like and then simply snap the pic you wanted. The app offers some fantastic editing tools and filter effects that give you almost professional level photos every single time.

The app also offers a collage mode where you can take multiple images in a sequence to create your own collage –like a personal coin operated photo booth.

The app offers nearly 100+ filter effects, and even has a timer mode so that you don’t really need to depend on anyone else for your picture. It also lets you pull in images from your gallery and lets you work on the same, to create custom images and collages.

One of the major issues I’ve found with Retrica in comparison to other tools such as Aviary is that Retrica by default, inserts a water mark on the photos that you take.

You are able to remove that in the free and premium version, but it just seems like a really unnecessary part of the entire app.

The app by default offers the ability to share your photos on various social media including the timeline. Retrica also offers in-app purchases of additional content including filter packs and other offerings.
